EAST GREENWICH, RI — An East Greenwich man was charged with driving under the influence after a hit-and-run crash, police said.
Jack Dunstan, 33, was arrested shortly after 9:30 p.m. Thursday at his Queen Street home, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Dunstan was also charged with refusing to submit to a chemical test and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle, according to the release.
"The arrest was the result of an investigation into a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident and Troopers subsequently locating (Dunstan) at his residence," the release said.
Dunstan was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a notice to appear in court, according to police.
