• EG Schools Restore MySchoolBucks Online Meal Payments (eastgreenwichnews.com) — East Greenwich families can once again pay for school meals online after the district reached a new agreement with MySchoolBucks operator Heartland to comply with Rhode Island's fee cap law. The restored system lets parents fund meal accounts electronically, while those who prefer can still send cash or checks made out to EGPS as a fee-free option.
   

• Town Hires Consultant to Assess Condition of Eldredge (eastgreenwichnews.com) — East Greenwich officials have hired LeftField Consultants to thoroughly assess the aging Eldredge Elementary School building as they plan its future after the school closes in June. Over the next month, engineers will examine systems, structure, and potential hazards before the town moves into a second phase exploring possible new uses, such as consolidating school administrative offices there.
