The Friends of the East Greenwich Free Library will be hosting the Annual Book Sale on Saturday, May 17th, 2014 from 10:00am – 3:00pm, rain or shine! Book donations start May 9th, with a members-only sneak-preview on May 15th!
Don’t miss this exciting book sale event, full of literary treasures for all ages! Selections for sale include: fiction, reference, nonfiction, children’s books, cookbooks, CDs, audio books…and much, much more! Book prices start at just $1/hardcover book, $.50/paperback – awesome deals! The sale on May 17th is free and open to the public.
Members-Only Sneak-Peek Sorting Party and Pre-sale is May 15th, 2014, 6:30-8:00pm. Come help sort the selections, while picking the titles you want to purchase! Join other members in a fun atmosphere, and enjoy the members-only benefit of buying books in advance! Not a member and want to participate in the sorting and pre-sale event? No problem! Friends of the Library Memberships will be available at the door: $10/individual or $20/family.Book Donations and Event Volunteers Needed!
Do you have books that need a new home? Book donations will be gladly accepted at the library for the sale, starting Friday, May 9th through Thursday, May 15th, during regular business hours. Please note: Donations of newspapers, magazines, textbooks, encyclopedias or Reader’s Digest Condensed books will not be accepted. Volunteers Welcome!
