Arrests: Man Arrested For Possession Of Illegal Drugs

Wednesday, July 6

5:10pm - Policed cited a Cranston man after noticing that the vehicle had a red inspection ticket on it. After pulling him over, police found out that the driver did not have a driver’s license. The vehicle was towed from the scene. 

Thursday, July 7

11:30am - Police arrested Brandi L. Deniger, 20, of Charlotte Drive on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police responded to a call about a domestic dispute between a father and daughter and upon arriving at the scene, found Deniger lying down in the road in front of her father’s van, which was attempting to leave. Police transported Deniger to the station where she waited until her court time. 

Friday, July 8

12:15am - Police arrested Scott Lee Adams, 22, of Dixie Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana. Police pulled over Adams after running his registration and having it show up as suspended. While police were doing an inventory search of the car, they found baggies of marijuana. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Adams was placed in police custody. 

1:18am - Police arrested Edmund James Richardson, 39, of Post Road on a charge of possessing illegal drugs. While police were patrolling the area around Church Street in an unmarked vehicle, they saw Richardson, who police later found was in possession of illegal drugs that he claimed to have purchased from another party. The pills were taken as evidence and Richardson was taken to the station.
