Chef Normand Leclair Teaches Two Cooking Camps for Kids This Summer

Cook book author and former proprietor of the Red Rooster Tavern in North Kingstown, Chef Normand Leclair loves to share his simple, delicious recipes with kids who want to learn to cook and eat well!

Chef Normand Leclair spent his fifty year culinary career perfecting the recipes
served at his Red Rooster Tavern restaurant in North Kingstown.  Upon
retirement from the restaurant business so many South County residents and
visitors came to know and love, he shares those recipes in his three
books, "Chicken Expressions, Seafood Expressions, and Culinary Expressions."

For the third year in a row, he will be sharing his talent and recipes with Fit2cook4Kids campers in two locations; Saint Francis deSales church in North Kingstown, and the North Kingstown Community Center at the town's beach.  Children from all over Rhode Island ranging from ages 8 to 15 years are welcomed to register for the 15 spaces at each of the two camps.

There's a reason this will be Chef Leclair's third year at Fit2cook4Kids...the children love him and keep asking for his return! He is endorsed by kids who want to learn to cook family meals and healthy snacks.  It doesn't get any better than that!
