Support EGHS Best Buddies This Weekend!

One of the most popular and beneficial clubs at East Greenwich High School is Best Buddies. Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization that forms one-to-one friendships pairing an intellectually or developmentally disabled person with a person that is not. Chapters of the organization are present in schools around the world. East Greenwich High School's chapter is great, with many members that work together to make a successful group. 

Best Buddies requires a great deal of fundraising. We hold annual fundraisers such as a car wash, which is often extremely successful. However, it is necessary to hold smaller fundraisers throughout the year. All funds collected go to a great cause! The funds help to finance chapter events, chapter dues, and a trip for some members to the annual Best Buddies Leadership Conference.

The EGHS chapter of Best Buddies will be holding a fundraiser at Ruby Tuesday's on Saturday, March 23. Participating in the fundraiser is easy! All you have to do is print out a copy of the flier attached to this post. Go to eat at Ruby Tuesday's (1050 Division Road, East Greenwich, RI, 02818) at any time on Saturday the 23rd, and present the flier to your waiter or waitress when they bring the bill. 20% of the cost of your order will be donated to Best Buddies! 

Participating in this fundraiser is a great way to support Best Buddies. All the money goes to a GREAT cause, and helping out is extremely easy!
