The Test To End All Tests

The most important day of my young life.

This has been a nerve-racking two weeks. Once you hit the two-week line, you are fully entitled to have a full-on panic attack. Needless to say, I have been quaking in my boots for a few days now. Why is that? Well, on Monday, I have to take the most important test of my young life (OTHER than the SATs, Mom). My driver’s license test. That’s right, on Monday, Dec. 5, Rachel Morley will either have her license, or be curled up in a ball crying.

Every single person you talk to (and believe me, I’ve talked to a LOT) says the same thing, “Oh! It’s so easy, don’t even worry about it!” However, I feel like that sentence is a rite of passage. I am just waiting for the day that those words get to come out of my mouth. Which, hopefully, is Monday.

I probably would be much less stressed if I hadn’t told EVERY single person I know the date and time of my road test. For those of you that haven’t told every living person that you have ever come in contact with, don’t. Just don’t. All week, I have been getting “Ohmigosh your test is on Monday right? Good luck!” And I, who had conveniently managed to forget that my test was in fact, in two days, get stressed all over again. I think my hair is going to start falling out.

Anyway, best of luck to those of you who have to take your road test in the near future, like me!

Until next week (and hopefully with a license),
