Brown Bag Lunchtime Concert Swings Open June 13

Ok, it was a rough start. The Brown Bag Lunchtime Concert series was rained out when it was supposed to begin in May.

The good news is the second annual lunchtime concert series is giving it another try this June 13 featuring The Innovations — a swing group.

Swing down near Town Hall at 125 Main Street from noon to 1:30 p.m. to get a prime spot on the lawn.

It's a perfect opportunity to check out Main Street's shops, restaurants and happenings. Why not get a sandwich or pastry from one of the fine purveyors along East Greenwich's downtown and munch down to some sweet sounds?

The rained-out concert was to featured the country music group Branded, voted Rhode Island's Country Music Band of the Year in 2014. That show is going to be made up on Friday, June 27 at noon.
