Kristin Lehoullier, 57, is most herself on a yoga mat, a pickleball court, a ski slope, or a hiking trail — and whenever she's with the people she loves most.
Kristin and her family — husband Jeff and their two children Jake, 22, and Kate, 19 — have been navigating serious illness since 2022, when Kristin was diagnosed with aplastic anemia, a rare bone marrow failure disorder that made her transfusion dependent for over two years. She received a bone marrow transplant in September 2025, but complications brought her back to needing regular blood and platelet transfusions by December. Other treatments were tried, but none held. She had a second transplant on April 24, 2026 and is currently in the hospital waiting for the new donor cells to take root.
Her stem cell donor and the people who give blood and platelets are, quite literally, keeping her alive while she waits for engraftment to happen. The people who showed up to donate are part of what has carried her through.
By registering at the Drive for Kristin, you could one day be the match that saves a life. By donating blood or platelets, you join the community of people who have been there for Kristin — and for countless others who needed exactly what you had to give.
On behalf of Kristin, Jeff, Jake, and Kate, thank you for showing up. Your gift means everything.
