On Tuesday, October 6th award-winning artist, historian and story-teller Deborah Spears-Moorhead will share stories of Native American, African-American and soldiers of mixed ethnicities who fought alongside the colonists in the Revolutionary War. A descendent of Massoit, Spears-Moorhead uses art and music to tell the stories of little-known contributors to the Revolutionary War. Her program is sponsored by the East Greenwich Historic Preservation Society. It begins at 6 pm in the Community Room of the East Greenwich Police Station, 176 First Avenue. Light refreshments will be served.
