Calling EG High Wall Of Honor Alumni

April 11 is the ceremony for the new class.

From East Greenwich School District: They cover just about all levels of occupations., They all claim that they got their start and influence at a small high school in central Rhode Island. They have all gone on to success in life and serve as an example to those following them from that small high school.

That's why the Committee for the East Greenwich High School Wall of Honor would like as many former inductees as possible, particularly those living close by, to attend this year's ceremony honoring the 11th Class of the East Greenwich High School Wall of Honor.

They certainly have. Former Avengers and EG School grads have gone on to be Governor, First Lady, NASA Director, the Commander of the biggest evacuation from Manhattan on 9/11, Broadway dancer, actors, Hollywood set makers, outstanding athletes and coaches, teacher & principals, CEO's, top businessmen and CEO's, doctors, lawyers,executives, jet pilots, nurses, philanthropists and volunteers, writers, artists, craftsmen, TV Photographers, Pulitzer Prize winners and more.

All of them making their mark in their chosen fields and yet never forgetting that small town they came from, which many credit as being the foundation and the springboard for their success.

So this year, April 11th, 2018 the Wall of Honor Committee would like to see as many of them, who can, return for the ceremonies.

Being honored this year are : John Chandler, businessman; Dr. Bernice Pescosolido, Professor; Diane McDonald, Horsewoman; Guy Asadorian, Businessman; Matt Plain, Lawyer.

So the Committee is giving a shout out to these former honorees, who live near enough that they should be able to attend : Governor & First Lady, Don & Sue Carcieri; Wilma Briggs, Ducky Kettelle, Janet Joyce, Jack Sinnigen, Jane Kondon, Robert Corrente, Bob Farrell, Mary Sicco, Ev Lundberg, Dee Kettelle, Judy Briggs, Fred Procopio, Linda Alix, Chris Hurd, Deb McMullen.

The event is free, last about an hour and a half, and is followed by a reception and collation in the school cafeteria.
