Christ Church begins the New Year with a new Senior Pastor

Christ Church is excited to announce that Pastor Vann Trapp will begin service at Christ Church as Senior Pastor on Sunday, January 7, 2018.

Vann Trapp has been pastoring for 32 years, serving in churches in four different states and several different denominations. He was ordained in the Evangelical Covenant denomination 20 years ago. He loves seeing lives and communities transformed, seeing the lights go on in people's understanding God's Word, and seeing people meet and experience Jesus for the first time. Vann’s passion is to serve as a senior pastor in a vibrant, missional church. He encourages members to love God, love His Word, love eacher other and love the people in His world.

Vann has been married to Carrie for 30 years and they have 3 grown children. They relocated to Rhode Island from the Denver area in December.

Christ Church is a compassionate Christian community with many outreach ministries, including a Care Center that seeks to care for those within the community needing practical help and/or counseling. The church also has a Mission Team that seeks to reach out in focused, sustainable ways to bring hope to the world. It partners with many mission organizations worldwide and sends out short term mission teams each year.
