Cranston Man's Cake Has 102 Candles

EAST GREENWICH, RI — Saint Elizabeth Home gave Joe Joly a happy birthday on Friday, the staff said. He celebrated his 102nd surrounded by friends, family, and Saint Elizabeth Home caregivers. Joly lived independently in Cranston before moving to East Greenwich last year. His personal story is included in “If I Live to Be 100: The Wisdom of Centenarians,” written by national award winning photographer and author, Paul Mobley.
