East Greenwich Voters Approve Both Bond Questions
Both bond questions were approved by large margins.

EAST GREENWICH, RI — East Greenwich residents voted in favor of both bond questions on the ballot on Tuesday. According to the unofficial tally from the Town Clerk's office, the results are a landslide for both.
The results from the Town Clerk are considered unofficial because they have not yet been certified by the state Board of Elections. Here's the tally of votes for each question, which includes both mail and machine ballots.
Question 1: $5 million for school repairs
Yes: 1090
No: 495

Question 1: $4.5 million for sewer repairs
Yes: 1146
No: 432
According to the Rhode Island Board of Elections, 1,385 voters had checked in as of 8 p.m., when the polls closed. According to Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea's office, there are 11,466 registered voters in the town.
