East Greenwich Artist to be Featured in Solo Show at Providence Art Club
Alice Benvie Gebhart, owner of Heritage Art Gallery & Glass Studio on Post Road, to show works in glass at historic Art Club September 7-26.
Alice Benvie Gebhart solo show Memories in Glass will be on view
at the Providence Art Club September 7-26, 2014.
Ms. Gebhart holds a B.S. and M.Ed. from Rhode Island College in Art Education. She has also participated in a number of workshops on fused glass; most recently at the Bullseye Resource Center in New York.
Her show will feature more than 30 works using the unique fused glass technique. She will also host a public artist’s talk on the evening of Wednesday, September 10 at 6:00pm.
A reception for her exhibit will be held Sunday, September 7 from 2-4pm in the Art Club’s Dodge House Gallery. Light refreshments will be served.
