East Greenwich's unofficial results from the November 3 election are in.
EAST GREENWICH, RI—Unofficial results from the November 3 election in East Greenwich are in, with the majority of voters showing support for Joe Biden's campaign, leaning towards Democratic candidates in general, and voting in favor of passing the statewide ballot question.
The passing of Question 1 in Rhode Island means the official name of the state will change, dropping "Providence Plantations" from its title.
According to Rhode Island Secretary of State Nellie M. Gorbea, voters in Rhode Island overwhelmingly chose to vote by mail, with 83 percent sending mail-in ballots compared the the nine percent of voters who voted by mail in the 2016 general election.
