East Greenwich Hill and Harbour Turkey Trot Search for 2017 Beneficiary
The race generates donations to a worthy local cause, and organizers change the beneficiary annually.

EAST GREENWICH, RI — It's a race that raises money for a local organization. To give everybody a fair chance, the Main Street Association gives the proceeds of its annual race to a different good cause every year, according to Michelle Clark, board member.
So, it's time for local organizations to apply to be the 2017 beneficiary. Applications are due April 1.
This will be the seventh running of the Hill and Harbour Turkey Trot, Clark said. The fully sanctioned and certified 5K race will be held in East Greenwich on Nov. 25.
