East Greenwich Police Accepting Applications for Dispatcher

The town of East Greenwich is looking for a new police dispatcher.

It’s an important job, one that requires someone who is motivated, organized and able to work quickly and efficiently.

Dispatchers are responsible for receiving all oral and electronic communication from the public and police officers, either over communication lines or in person at headquarters.

Being able to multitask is a must.

Applicants must be 18 or older, have a high school diploma or GED and experience with Dispatching/IMC TriTech software is preferred.

The salary ranges from $33,000 to $39,000 and a benefits package is included.
