East Greenwich Teachers Say They Rejected Latest Contract Offer
The teachers union posted a press release on Twitter to say they have turned down the school committee's latest offer.

EAST GREENWICH, RI — The teachers' union voted on Feb. 8 to reject the school committee's contract offer. According to the union press release, the offer "would have resulted in significant pay cuts for newly hired teachers, a high-deductible health plan for employees teaching less than seven years, and language regarding class sizes harmful to students."
