MacGunnigle is also known as a town historian, the author of 15 books on the Revolutionary War and the person who had the original idea of having strolls on Main Street, which has evolved in the increasingly popular Main Street Strolls that fill the town with shoppers and guests.

The East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce posted 66 photos of the parade on its Facebook page, if you’d like to see more.
