EG Police Looking for Wallet Thief

The woman tried to use stolen credit cards with a Rhode Island State Police baseball cap.

East Greenwich police are asking the public to help them identify a woman who allegedly stole a wallet at a basketball at Our Lady of Mercy School recently.

The woman, pictured here, reportedly used a credit card from the wallet at Silver Spoon Bakery and then tried to use the cards at a Walgreens and CVS in Warwick.

The suspect is described as a white female in her late 20s or early 30s. She was wearing black clothing and a Rhode Island State Police baseball cap with a ponytail.

Police said the victim left her wallet on the ground near the benches during the basketball game on Nov. 24.

The wallet contained $50 cash in addition to assorted cards.
