EGAPL and Brandi Project Team Up to Raise Money

The East Greenwich Animal Protection League and The Brandi Project, an orgianzation that provides support to dog rescue groups, announced their collaboration to raise funds for the EGAPL.

The Brandi Project’s two-pronged mission is to help fund dog rescue groups such as EGAPL through the sale of branded t-shirts, tote bags, and other merchandise, and to educate the public on the larger dog-rescue mission.

The Brandi Project reached out after the EGAPL’s landlord, the East Greenwich Animal Hospital, suddenly and publicly closed in April. The popular rescue group was able to stay in the building and rent month-by-month while it seeks permanent space. As part of the collaboration, the EGAPL will offer The Brandi Project merchandise and will receive 25 percent of the price of each purchase.

The League is also planning to hold fundraising events at The Cowesett Inn, which is owned by Jim Paolucci, founder of The Brandi Project.

EGAPL Executive Director Tammy Flanagan said ”this partnership helps us raise much-needed funds with minimal effort on our part. Jim Paolucci, who became interested in dog rescue after adopting his shelter dog, Brandi, said, “we’re thrilled to be helping such a great organization.
