[VIDEO] EGBA MLK Tourney, Day 4: CLCF's Buzzer Win

Behind by two with two seconds left, Cranston's Chris Hindle gets the ball and sinks a three-pointer.

It doesn’t get any closer than the 12-year-old boys final between East Greenwich and Cranston Monday – a three-pointer at the buzzer by CLCF’s Chris Hindle put Cranston on top 39-38.

“It was just kind of shock because it was an off-balance shot so I was surprised I got it. But everyone’s cheering you on – it’s a great feeling,” Hindle said.

“I don’t know what to say,” said CLCF coach Duane Albro. “It was a great game by both teams, it could have gone either way.”

Indeed, the score see-sawed the whole second half. With two seconds left and EG up by 2, Cranston had the ball. Hindle caught the pass, dribbled once and heaved it up.

The resulting sinker was basketball magic.
