EGHS Takes Second at State Academic Decathlon

Congrats are in order for the boys and girls of the East Greenwich High School Academic Decathlon team.

The team took third place in the SuperQuiz event and won second place overall at the competition held March 15 at the Community College of Rhode Island’s Knight Campus in Warwick.

Bishop Hendricken won the competition for the fifth year in a row.

East Greenwich student Kathy Luo won a gold medal in the essay contest and will be recognized at a State House ceremony this May.
