EGPD Calls for Vigilance after Recent Daytime House Breaks
Four houses have been broken into during daytime hours.

East Greenwich Police are asking people to keep their eyes open and be on the lookout for suspicious cars or people after a rash of recent break-ins during daylight hours in the western part of town.
Break-ins have occurred on Middle, Shippeetown and Division Roads and and the suspect (or suspects) usually get inside through locked windows that have been pried open.
Jewelry seems to be the main target, police said.
