The Land Trust is comprised of seven appointees of the Town Council. Members serve five year terms and meet once a month on the third Tuesday of each month.
The Land Trust is responsible for acquiring and managing real property in the town for open space, agricultural and recreational use, protection of ground water resources, protection of historic resources, wetlands, and wildlife habitat, and for public access to the shore.
