Experts Share Gravestone Repair Tips to EG Cemetery Commission Volunteers

"Their efforts contributed greatly to the ongoing rehabilitation efforts towards that cemetery and the Commission's efforts as a whole."

Carlo and Betto Menucci are experts on cleaning gravestones and they came to East Greenwich recently to show volunteers to share some of that knowledge.

Members of the East Greenwich Historic Cemetery Advisory Commission learned how to clean aged gravestones as well as techniques in repairing stones damaged from falling limbs.

“Their efforts contributed greatly to the ongoing rehabilitation efforts towards that cemetery and the Commission’s efforts as a whole,” an EG Cemetery Commission release stated. “The Mencucci’s are area experts that work to restore and repair gravestones in local area cemeteries, and their efforts were greatly appreciated by the Commission.”
