Great Clips Opens on Frenchtown Road

The new salon opened recently and is celebrating its opening with open houses the next two weekends in March.

There’s a new place to get a haircut around town, and “It’s gonna be great!”

That’s the slogan for Great Cuts, which bills itself as the world’s largest salon brand with more than 3,700 locations.

One of the newest is just over the border at 40 Frenchtown Road in North Kingstown and its owner, Chrissy Whalen, along with staff and members of the East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, were on hand for a ribbon cutting this week to mark the salon’s new opening.
