Have You Registered For School Bus Yet?
Don't worry – your children won't be left at the curb. EGSD is just trying to get an accurate count and plan the most sensible bus routes.
If your child/children will be riding the school bus when school begins later this month (Aug. 28 to be exact) – and even if he/she isn't – the EG School Department wants you to register.
They are asking this "in an attempt to create bus runs that are balanced, rather than overloaded or underutilized," according to the school department.
The department wants to you register even if your child is not going to take the bus too. In that case you would click on the box that reads "no transportation needed."

For those with younger children who need to go to daycare after school, there is a drop-down menu listing all of the district daycare sites buses go to.
According to EGSD policy, there is only transportation to daycares located within your home district. In other words, it does not provide cross-district transportation to daycare (i.e. transportation from Frenchtown School to a daycare in the Meadowbrook district).
Although EGSD was looking for the info by the end of July, Chris DeMeglio at EGSD said they are still hoping parents will register. So far, she said, a little more than half of all students are registered.
