"Howl-o-ween Hike N Treat" to Help Homeless Animals

Let's get spooky with our dogs on Sunday, October 25, 2026! Dog walk, costume contest and more!

​Furry Fellas Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Service is hosting its annual Howl-o-ween Hike N Treat fundraiser to benefit Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter (FOWAS) on Sunday October 25, 2026 starting at 3:00 pm at Warwick City Park’s Buttonwoods Beach**, 185 Asylum Road, Warwick, RI. Enjoy a group dog walk through the park, a pet Halloween costume contest with prizes, pet portraits by Sandi King of White Dog Studios, games, dog treats and human treats, including plant-based snacks too.

: Sunday, November 1st at Warwick City Park’s Buttonwoods Beach

To register, go to: https://www.furryfellaspetsitting.com/events/​ and click "Register for Event Here". Please register in advance with a $15 each donation for either the dog walk or the costume contest ($30 donation for both). Registrants receive a colorful FOWAS bandana, while supplies last, and a professional pet portrait of their dog. Donations to FOWAS will benefit the homeless animals at the Warwick Animal Shelter. Dog Walk will start at 3 pm and the costume contest will take place afterwards. Costumes are encouraged (but not required) for the dogwalk but definitely encouraged for the costume contest.

All well-behaved, friendly, vaccinated dogs are welcome. Required dog vaccine: Rabies or exemption letter from vet. Bordetella and Distemper combo vaccines are also recommended for dogs coming into contact with other dogs, but are not required.

Please bring water for you and your pup and pup waste bags, and we will have extras on hand, just in case!

** Buttonwoods Beach Directions: Enter Warwick City Park at 185 Asylum Road. Then follow Steven O'Connor Blvd., turning left at the Dog Park and follow down to Buttonwoods Beach (beach is inside the Park).
