Kayem, New England’s oldest hot dog company and maker of Fenway
Franks, is welcoming the first official days of summer and the return of
grilling season with a special two-day celebration in Rhode Island.
On Friday, June 20, Kayem leaders will be at Lincoln Woods State
Park to donate and install 10 brand new grills. This gift to Rhode Island will
provide a perfect amenity for thousands of people who visit one of the state’s
most beloved parks throughout the summer season. Guests are encouraged to come
by to see the grills and enjoy a free lunch at 12PM-12:30PM.
The next day, Kayem welcomes Rhode Islanders to kick off the
season in the most delicious and perfect way possible: with a free hot dog. To
celebrate the official first day of summer, Kayem will host a free hot dog
sampling at Dave’s Marketplace at Smithfield Crossing from 11AM-4PM. Since
Kayem Franks are synonymous with both summer and baseball, Paws, the Pawtucket
Red Sox’ official mascot, will make a special appearance to pose for pictures
and help hand out Kayem hot dogs during the afternoon.
