Land Trust And Library Friends Meet

Five things you need to know about East Greenwich today, June 21.

Land Trust meeting: The East Greenwich Land Trust meets tonight at 7 at Town Hall. One topic sure to come up is the fate of Boesch Farm in the wake of the departure of its tenant.

Nurse clinic: The from 12:30 to 2:30 at Swift Community Center. Rhonda Brunnero, a registered nurse with Visiting Nurses Services of Home Health Services, will check blood pressure and heart rate. Tests for blood saturation with O2 and blood glucose are available on June 21st for a $1 fee.  

GBSA Parents Night: This is an opportunity to about Greenwich Bay Sailing Association’s summer sailing program. All are welcome, even those not signed up for GBSA. The meeting is at the East Greenwich Yacht Club and begins at 7pm.

Friends of the Library: The group meets tonight for its monthly get-together. It starts at 6:30pm, at the library.

Summer begins: It happens at 1:16pm - summer officially arrives. Known as the summer solstice, today is the longest day of the year.
