The Comedy Connection in East Providence is "going to the dogs. . .for a good cause!"
The next fundraiser for the East Greenwich Animal Protection League will have you laughing — at the Comedy Connection in East Providence.
Save the date for March 18 at 8 p.m. to “Raise the Woof!” with comedians Ray Harrington and Derek Furtado.
The special one-night-only fundraiser will be hosted by Lite Rock 105’s Stephen Donovan of “Heather and Steve in the Morning.”

The no-kill, non-profit volunteer-run animal shelter rents space from local animal hospitals, which limits the number of animals they can rescue.
Doors will actually open at 6:30 p.m. for a special adoption hour. Meet Carol Burnett and her kids. (Carol is a dog. Her kids are puppies.”
