Bernice Stamp, 89, of East Greenwich, Rhode Island passed away peacefully in Bryan, Texas.

Bernice Stamp, 89, of East Greenwich, Rhode Island passed away peacefully in Bryan, Texas.
Bernice was born to Edlar and Ivar Pearson in Providence, Rhode Island and was a Rhode Islander all her life. She was a loving mother and wife who cherished her family. She was married to the love of her life Albert Stamp who preceded her in death in April of 2010. Bernice worked in several schools in East Greenwich as a teachers’ aide and spent her life caring for her family at their home on Cindyann Drive, they were the first family to settle there in 1964. She loved to cook and hosted many parties at the family home.
After losing her Al, Bernice lived for a year at the family home on Cindyann Drive, then moved to Brightview Commons in Wakefield. At Brightview she shined with many friends and loved to participate in all activities. She moved to Texas in October of 2014 and lived at The Carriage Inn, Bryan, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter Joyce Lilly and husband Ralph; son Don, wife Ivonne and daughter Leslie; son Paul; and son David, wife Sandy and their children Brittany, Drew, and Phillip. We will all remember her forever and miss her every day.
The family would like to thank and acknowledge the friends and staff at Brightview Commons, Carriage Inn and Hospice Brazos Valley for the companionship and wonderful care that Bernice received.
