Obituary: C. Milton Tanner, 73

C. Milton Tanner died Thursday, June 21. He was the longtime owner of Twenty Water Street and a member of the East Greenwich Yacht Club.

Milt leaves behind his wife, Linda, and three children, Kristen McCabe, and Charles and Frederick Tanner, as well as five grandchildren and two sisters.

The funeral will take place Monday at Hill Funeral Home on Main Street in East Greenwich at 11 a.m. Calling hours are Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m.

Twenty Water Street was a fixture of East Greenwich for decades. Recently, it was sold and the space is currently undergoing renovations.
