Obituary: Carol E. Gronhagen, 83

Carol E. Gronhagen, 83, passed away May 18, 2015. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Frederick J. Gronhagen.

Born in Patterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Jeanette (Vermeulen) Mitchell. Mrs. Grohagen was a former textile designer and had been a cook for the East Greenwich School Department. She was a talented artist.

Besides her husband she is survived by her sons Eric J. Gronhagen and Mark D. Gronhagen and his wife Jacqueline; grandchildren Patrick, Sarah and Lillian and her sister Nora L. Fiske. She was the sister of the late Ronald C. Mitchell. Funeral Service Friday at 10:00AM at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Burial will be private. Calling hours: Thursday 4-7PM.
