Deborah C. Anderson, 81 passed away November 15, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Robert C. Anderson.

Born in Claremont, NH she was a daughter of the late Edward and Deborah (O’Brien) Sullivan.

Debby enjoyed an extensive career in the insurance industry working as an agent at H.V. Allen Insurance Agency and Preston Insurance Agency. She was also an insurance instructor at Rhode Island College’s outreach program for 15 years. She was an East Greenwich High School graduate, class of 1951 and a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. She was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church, an OLM associate member of the Legion of Mary, a member of the Altar Guild and was a past president of the East Greenwich Business & Professional Womens Club.

Besides her husband she is survived by three sons; David R. Anderson and his wife Linda, Stephen J. Anderson and his wife Deborah and their children Paige and Leigha, and Richard W. Anderson and his wife Michelle and their children Nicolle and Brooke, two sisters Ann Szczesny and Elizabeth Sullivan and was the sister of the late William Sullivan. Being with her family and her dog, Sully, along with watching her beloved Red Sox were some of her happiest times.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday November 22nd at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., E. Greenwich. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, E. Greenwich. Calling hours: Friday November 21st from 4-7 pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E. Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the East Greenwich BPW Scholarship Fund, 1765 Bicentennial Way, N. Providence, RI 02911.
