Obituary: Deborah Williams, 54

Deborah Williams, 54, of East Greenwich, passed away June 9, 2015. She is survived by her loving companion, Bobby Melidossian.

Born in New Haven, CT, she was a daughter of the late Armand Williams, Jr. and Joan M. (O’Brien) Williams.

Debbie co-owned the former Pier 66 Marina in Branford, CT, with her sister. She was a recipient of the Reserve World Champion and Reserve Horse of the Year for the USEF 2004. She was also a NBHA World Championships Qualifier in 2012. She loved animals, nature and travel and was a Boat Captain.

Anywhere she went she made a friend.

She is also survived by a sister Dawn J. Williams-Dailey, a brother Mark Williams; nieces Brooke and Lauren Williams-Dailey; and lifelong friends Danielle Duchesneau, Renee Hood and Kristine Gronhagen.

Her funeral service will be Tuesday, June 16th at NOON at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Visitation will be prior to the service 10:00AM-12:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the East Greenwich Animal Protection League, P.O. Box 184, East Greenwich, RI 02818.
