Everett Harvey North, “Bud”, 85, formerly of Potowomut, passed away July 22, 2015.
Born June 20, 1930, survived by Audrey (Schurman) North, his loving wife of 60 years, son of the late Earl C. and Bertha (Tingley) North, brother of Margaret Kenyon of South Kingstown, and Earl C. North, Jr. of Caanan, NH, father of Brenda Flamand (David) of Spencer, MA and Charles Schurman North (Terri) of Jamestown.
He was known as “Boppa” to his five grandsons, Brian, David, Joshua, Gregory & Benjamin and his two great grandsons, Riley & Wesley. He was the brother of the late Barbara Blair.

He graduated from North Kingstown High School, served in the army for four years, seven years at Quonset Point and 23 years as General Manager at Atlas Terminal Company.
He was a realtor with Caldwell Banker and Certified Appraiser, Real Estate Division of the Department of Transportation for the State of RI. He was a member of the American Legions Posts # 12 & #15, Board of Realtors Association, past members of the Providence Central & Warwick Lions Clubs, Executives Association of Providence, and the East Greenwich Veterans Fireman’s Association. He enjoyed tennis, golf, biking and the outdoors.

He was meticulous about his yard and took great pride in his home in Potowomut. In his spare time he loved to play with his dog Jackie. A private graveside service will be held by the family.
