Obituary: Katharina Bertwell, 63

Katharina Bertwell Caramiciu), 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 13th at home, surrounded by loved ones.

Kathy was a kind, caring person who loved her family above all else. Always willing to give of herself, she was treasured and will be missed by those lucky enough to have known her. Wife of the late Charles W. Bertwell Jr., whom she loved eternally, she leaves behind two sons, Nathan and Jeffrey, four grandchildren, David Deusch, and Mackenzie, Alexis, and Connor Bertwell.

She also leaves her mother, Anna Caramiciu, brothers’ Thomas, Constantine, George, Alex, and sister Madelaine. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday July 8th from 5-8 pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Her funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
