Obituary: Mary Alice Judd, 88

Mary Alice (Sprague) Judd, 88, of East Greenwich passed away on April 4. Beloved wife of the late Edwin B. Judd, Sr., for 65 years. She leaves her beloved children, David S.; Barbara P.; and Thomas N. and his wife Nancy, along with five grandchildren. She was the loving mother of the late Edwin B. Judd, Jr.

Her never-ending love for her family was her greatest pleasure in life. Mary Alice raised several litters of German-bred German shepherds and also was owner of the Morgan horse "Bayfield Gay Piper, who was quite the champion during his show years. 

Mary Alice was a knitter, an avid team bowler and a gardener. She enjoyed "her deer, birds, and other wildlife that visited her property.
