Obituary: Robert E. Harris, 65, Carpenter, Vietnam Veteran

Robert E. Harris, 65, passed away July 27, 2014.

He was the husband of Judy A. (Knott) Harris.

Born in Providence he was a son of the late Angus H. and Frances (Cluen) Harris.

Mr. Harris was a self employed carpenter for many years and was a US Army Vietnam veteran.

Besides his wife he is survived by three children; Sarah L. Messier, Jessica E. and Kyle R. Harris, and his grandson Elijah C. Messier. He was the brother of the late William and Ronald Harris.

Funeral service Friday August 1st at 10 am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E. Greenwich. Visitation prior to the service will be from 9:00 - 10:00 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America (vva.org).
