Obituary: Susan A. Duncan, 74

Susan A. Duncan, 74, of East Greenwich, passed away at home on April 24, 2015.

Born in New Bedford, MA, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Abeel.

Mrs. Duncan worked at Rhode Island Hospital for many years retiring in 2004. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1961. Susan was an avid painter most of her life and was a lover of the arts. She is survived by her son Scott A. Duncan.

Funeral service Thursday April 30th at 10:00 am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E. Greenwich. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Bedford, MA. Calling hours: Wednesday April 29th from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the University of Rhode Island, C/O Department of Geosciences or the East Greenwich Free Library.
