Police Arrest Man Accused of Stealing $1,300 Worth of Toothbrushes, Rogaine

Joshua J. Walsh, 26, turned himself in to East Greenwich police last week for the crime he allegedly committed in December.

A Providence man who allegedly stole $1,300 worth of electronic toothbrushes and boxes of Rogaine from an East Greenwich CVS in December turned himself in to police last week after his photo was released to the public on the Rhode Island’s Most Wanted website.

Police said Joshua J. Walsh, 26, of 762 Broad St., turned himself in to police on Jan. 12 and was arraigned in Third Division District Court. He was released on surety bail and will return to court on Jan. 30 for a pretrial conference.

Walsh allegedly loaded up a store basket with seven toothbrushes, two Sonicare Air Floss systems and two boxes of Rogaine and walked out without paying at the CVS at 1285 South County Trail on Dec. 2.
