Police Looking for Stolen Toyota Camry
The car was stolen sometime after noon on Sept. 24

A 1997 Toyota Camry that has been lavishly cared for by its South Pierce Road owner has been stolen -- for a second time.
Police said the resident reported the theft on Sept. 25, telling police that the car had actually been stolen six years ago but was recovered in Providence with a torn-up dashboard.

The car had since been repaired to restore its original factory look.
The Camry was stolen sometime after noon on Sept. 24, when it was parked and locked in the driveway.

Police saw no broken glass or other signs at the scene to indicate that force was used to gain entry.
Police issued a statewide alert with the vehicle description.
The car is described as a beige Camry LX sedan bearing Rhode Island registration No. RS-941.
