The club offers fun and friendship for new and longtime residents of East Greenwich and Cowesett.

The East Greenwich Cowesett New Neighbors Club is inviting both new and longtime residents to its next monthly meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The meeting at 9:30 a.m. is in United Methodist Church at 1558 South County Trail and the featured guest speaker will be Sara Zarrella, a well-known photographer and “photo-novelist” who will show how to take better pictures.
Zarrella studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the New England School of Photography and was named Best Wedding Photographer by the readers of Rhode Island Monthly in 2014 and 2015, among other accomplishments.

Great photographs tell stories, and swapping stories is just one of the many things the club offers to members, who pay a $35 membership fee for access to the monthly meetings held from September through June and activity groups for tennis, walking, lunch brunches, nights out, books, wine, theater and more.
Babysitting is provided for daytime meetings. People can attend two monthly meetings before deciding to join.
