Rocky Hill Names New Athletics Director

Megan Williams will start her new job on July 1.

From Rocky Hill School: Rocky Hill School is pleased to announce Megan Williams as the Director of Athletics for the 2018-2019 school year. A graduate of Bryn Mawr College, Williams has been a member of the Goucher College community since 2012, serving as Assistant Athletic Director, Head Field Hockey coach, and faculty member, teaching courses in Sports Psychology and Diversity Issues in Athletics.

“I’m thrilled to have Megan join us,” said Diane Rich, Assistant Head of School for Internal Affairs. “Her depth and variety of experience, along with her creative and innovative spirit, will help propel Rocky Hill School’s strategic athletic initiatives forward.”

Williams is the founder and director of Gold Standard Performance Field Hockey Camp, and served as a Regional Director for USA Field Hockey. In addition to holding a Master of Science in Sport and Recreation Science with a concentration in Coaching Education from Ohio University, she has several years of experience in marketing, curriculum development, and staff management, all of which will provide strong support for the future of Rocky Hill School’s athletics programs.
