Schools Closed in East Greenwich Wednesday
Grab those sleds. Or shovels. It's another snow day.

East Greenwich has joined other Rhode Island communities to announce that school will be cancelled tomorrow thanks to a major snowstorm that has dumped upwards of two feet on most of the state.
The decision was made on Tuesday as the snow continued to fall at a steady clip with the forecast calling for a bit more snow until clearing begins Tuesday afternoon.
The wind-driven snow has been hard for crews to keep up with, and officials have decided to give families extra time to dig out and recover from the storm. Anyone who got out early today to get a jump on shoveling will probably see their efforts wiped out before the storm wraps up for good.

The extra time will give town workers a chance to shovel sidewalks and ensure safe routes to school.
