Summer English Tutoring Available

Rhode Island certified English teacher looking to tutor students to earn summer school credits or work on basic skills to keep them on grade level or work on getting them there. I am certified to teach grades 5-12 and currently work as a resource teacher in Rhode Island. I have experience working with students that are English Language Learners and that receive special education services. In addition, I have tutored middle school and high school students for English that are not enrolled in special education and are not English Language Learners. I am willing to tutor any age, (elementary to adult) however if it is needed for school district credit it will only be credited for grades 5-12 in English by school districts. My main area of certification is in English for middle school and high school age students. I am working on my masters where I have taken classes to teach different approaches to reading and comprehension. I am patient and willing to modify and adjust to see what works best on a case by case basis. At this point my going rate is $35.00 an hour.
