Town Seeks Volunteers for Veteran's Day Parade
A few good folks are needed for the Parade Committee.

East Greenwich is looking for a few good men and women to make this year’s Veteran’s Day parade a success.
The Parade Committee needs a few volunteers to join up and help make the annual tradition a successful celebration and commemoration of veterans and their service for yet another year.
If you’re interested, call the inimitable Leigh Botello, East Greenwich’s Town Clerk, at 401-886-8604 or send an email to lbotello@eastgreenwichri.com.

The Town prides itself on being one of only a handful of Rhode Island communities to continue to sponsor this parade, honoring Veterans of all wars, especially those who have given their last full measure of devotion.
The parade begins at Academy Field and travels to First Avenue for a wreath-laying at the World War II Memorial at the corner of Cliff Street.

The parade steps off on Nov. 11, but planning starts much sooner than that. So don’t wait if you think you might like to volunteer.
